Do you take insurance?

Redbrook Therapy accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Aetna, Priority Health, United Healthcare. If you’re unsure about your coverage, we can discuss options during your consultation. We’re happy to help you understand what your benefits may include.

If you have a PPO plan with out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement from your insurance company for your therapy sessions. If you would like to submit claims to your insurance company for reimbursement, just let your therapist know and we will be happy to provide you with what you’ll need.

Can I self-pay? What are your rates?

Yes. Self-pay options are available. Session fees can be discussed during your consultation so you can choose what works best for you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Can I use my HSA card?

Yes. Many clients use HSA or FSA accounts to pay for therapy services.

How do I get started?

You can request an appointment through the contact page. We’ll begin with a consultation to discuss what you’re looking for and determine whether we’re a good fit.

How do I book a telehealth consultation or appointment?

When scheduling your appointment, simply indicate that you prefer telehealth. Your therapist will send a secure Zoom link to the email address you provide.

How long are sessions?

Standard sessions are approximately 50 minutes.

Do you work with teens?

Yes. We provide counseling for teens navigating emotional regulation, social challenges, identity development, and family dynamics.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Your privacy is important. Therapy is confidential except in specific situations required by law (such as risk of harm to yourself or others). A full explanation is provided in our Notice of Privacy Practices.

What can I expect in a first session?

The first session is an opportunity to talk about what’s bringing you in and what you’d like support with. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and a plan that feels practical and helpful for you.

How often will I attend therapy?

Many clients begin with weekly sessions. Over time, sessions may shift depending on your goals and progress.

Do you offer couples counseling?

Yes. We work with couples navigating communication challenges, conflict, and major life transitions.
